Sarah Plummer-Taylor

Sarah Plummer-Taylor

Sarah Plummer Taylor is an established leader in the field of resilience building, holistic wellness, and community engagement. Her experience as a U.S. Marine who deployed twice to Iraq was the inspiration for her book, “Just Roll With It: 7 Battle Tested Truths for Building a Resilient Life.” Furthermore, having felt the healing benefits of mindfulness-based practices, she was called to continue personally studying as well as research the impact of those methods and then teach them to others. This lead Sarah to earn a master’s degree in social Work from the University of Denver, graduate from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, complete training as a 500hr-ERYT registered yoga instructor, and become an adjunct professor in Health Education and Promotion. Sarah lives in Colorado with her husband, baby girl, service dog, and three-legged pet dog.

“Veterans need to know that the mission is not over. The level of teamwork I’ve experienced with other veterans and community partners has given me hope for a better future in my community and across the country.”
