Event overview

Come on out and join the Mission Continues Aloha 1st Platoon as they join in on the event of the year - the Na Koa Regatta. It is going to be an amazing day of fun, sportsmanship and support as we join our Brothers and Sisters over at the Wounded Warrior Project, Team RWB, Team Rubicon and Access Surf, showing our support for these awesome teams. And wait for it...The Mission Continues will be entering 2 teams into the Regatta...so you can even cheer our own teams on, as they compete for glory. What's the Regatta? THEIR MISSION The mission of the regatta is to promote public awareness for Wounded Warriors, to support their families and to promote increased opportunities for their employment. THEIR HISTORY Launched in 2009, Malama Na Koa organized the regatta to assist recovering troops through the ‘healing power’ of the Hawaiian waters. The first event took place at the Pearl Harbor Marina with teams from the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard and other organizations. The event has since expanded to include a Youth Division, and to include our Gold Star Ohana in the Wounded Warrior Division. The Honolulu Navy League sponsored the event in 2013, and the Hawaii Chapter of the Association of the United States Army has hosted the event since. The regatta has quickly gained popularity in its short lifespan with nearly 800 spectators attending last year’s race. Registration for the teams is separate...this event is for the support crew, supporters and overall cheer teams. What an amazing event....we hope to see everyone there.
