Join TMC as we participate in the 10th annual Prayer for Peach March through the streets of Homewood. On June 13th, 2020, The House of Manna Faith Community (HOM) will gather hundreds of Community & City Residents and Stakeholders in front of Westinghouse High School, for its 10th Annual “Prayer 4 Peace March”. The march will proceed through Homewood to the City’s Mobile Stage @ the Intersection of Frankstown Avenue & North Homewood Avenue. The theme for this years march is, “ACCOUNTABILITY & HEALING…” The Prayer 4 Peace March is a prophetic act that translates God’s message, “ a message of Love, Hope, Peace, and Healing. “God calls His people to proclaim freedom for the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set the oppressed free; we will pray and celebrate God’s victory over family curses that bind and destroy us through murder, systematic slavery, spiritual blindness, and oppression in our city.” (Eugene “Freedom “ Blackwell, organizer) Come hear the Voices of Mother’s, Fathers, Brothers, Sisters, Who Suffered, and are healing through being the change they and their children wanted to see. We are honored to have coming to support & speak , City of Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto, State Representative Ed Gainey, and the City of Pittsburgh Zone 5 Commander and Police Officers. “Moving from Vision to Transformation!” Time: March begins at 10am sharp. We are asking those who would like to volunteer to arrive at 7am. Please wear a mask or face covering during the march. Accessibility: the march will be taking place on the sidewalks and roads. It will be accessible for all.
