Orlando 2nd Platoon has answered the call to assist the Soldier's Angel Mobile Food Distribution on June 19th from 8:00am-2:30pm. Food insecurity is on the rise as country faces unemployment issues. It is important we come together as a community and support those in need during this trying time. We are adhering to CDC and The Mission Continues safety guidelines concerning COVID-19. Please bring masks and gloves(work or food service gloves). If you do not have gloves they will be supplied. The Soldier's Angels need 45 volunteers and as they stated: "We need your help now more than ever... IF WE ARE UNABLE TO GET ENOUGH VOLUNTEERS TO MAN THE EVENT, THESE VETERANS ARE AT RISK OF NOT HAVING ANY FOOD."
