Event overview

The Tampa Platoon will be heading out to the farm to glean (harvest) BLUEBERRIES to donate to our food pantry partners. All tasks will be able to be done using social distancing. We recommend you bring and wear a personal mask.

What To Wear

TMC Blue shirt Closed-toed shoes (REQUIRED) Loose, lightweight clothes you don’t mind getting dirty Sunscreen Garden gloves, hat, sunglasses (I will have gloves for anyone who needs them. All gloves will be thoroughly washed ahead of time).

What to Bring

Water bottle and Plenty of water, you WILL need to stay hydrated (we will have water refills if needed) Snacks if needed Bug spray & sunscreen If you have a bee allergy, please bring epi pen or whatever medication you need just in case. Bees are needed for growing veggies so please beware that you may see them, but they do not normally bother us in the corn field.
