If you did not attend Cooking with Sam don't fret Substitute a rotisserie chicken for the 1st item on the supply list. Part 2 will be on Saturday and we're making chicken pot pie. For that you'll need the following Pie crust for a top and bottom OR phyllo dough (this is what I'll be making) • 4 cups chicken stock Shredded chicken from making the stock or just shredded cooked chicken if you're skipping making the stock. • A small bag of mixed vegetables • 1 potato peeled • 5 TBS flour • 5 TBS butter • olive oil (phyllo dough only) • Salt and pepper • Thyme • Rosemary • Kitchen bouquet (optional) • pie tin if going traditional • 11x13 glass cake pan if using phyllo If you still haven't signed up for part 2 of the virtual cooking class there's still time!
