Operation Beautify the Block - Veterans Garden Final Phase - TURNING THE SOIL & PLANTING the Seeds @ Sunnyside Baptist Church After 2 Hard Earned Phases of Demolition and Planter Box Construction! Join LA 3rd Platoon for a Sunday that will put this project in the history books as we finally turn the soil and plant our initial trees, fruits and vegetables in our Veterans Reflection Garden. With so many efforts to increase green spaces in South Central Los Angeles, Watts and Compton we are proud to be able to share this reflection garden with the COMMUNITY! Feel Free to Show Up When You Roll Up as we will be there ALL DAY to ensure we get this project done. Lunch will be served and we will have refreshments on deck to help fuel our efforts!
