Event overview

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. The Mission Continues San Francisco Platoon will help the SF Rec and Park division inaugurating a brand new community garden in the Visitation Valley area of San Francisco. This is a brand new space created specifically for the residents of Vis Valley. Construction is set for completion Jan 15th and we will be the first volunteer group to work on the site. The project scope will be updated once construction is complete but we can expect A LOT of mulch, planting and garden bed prep.

Parking Information

Parking is tricky in this area. It is best to park along the road next to the playground on Visitacion Ave directly after the entrance to McLaren Park on Han St. Or At the end of Raymond St.
