Veterans Day Parking Support

Each year, the Cascade Centennial Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution holds a highly structured and well planned event to honor the men and women who have served our great country. This year, we have dual focus by paying special tribute to the wives of Vietnam Era veterans and recalling the end of WWI. This year will be the 100th anniversary of the armistice which occurred on the “eleventh hour of the eleventh day in the eleventh month” in 1918. The organizing committee is in need of ten (10) volunteers to act as parking guides for the attendees. The Sunset Hills Memorial Park is a unique property and we want to ensure both the integrity of the property and safety of those arriving by car. We will equip volunteers with safety vests and walkie talkies.
