Veterans Day is a great opportunity to show the Northwest community what we're made of, and how we, as a community, can move mountains. Come on out, and join the Tacoma 1st platoon this November 10th, 2018, for an amazing day of service. The platoon will be supporting Friends of McKinley Park volunteers and Metro Parks Staff as we continue to build on this partnership. The Mission Continues aims to promote and empower neighborhood identity, and preserve playgrounds and historical education for youth...both of which fall right in line with our partners. There will be tons to do, and plenty of projects for the kids, so bring the whole family. Lunch will be provided...as well as water
