9/11 Day of Service - Columbia

September 08, 2018

08:00 AM - 02:00 PM CDT

Columbia MO Platoon

Event overview

As part of Operation CoMo kids we are launching a new partnership with Central Missouri Community Action. Central Missouri Community Action operates Early Head start facilities in Mid-Missouri that provide early, continuous, intensive, and comprehensive child development and family support services to low-income infants and toddlers and their families, and pregnant women and their families. We will be assisting them with revitalizing playgrounds at several of their facilities. Once we have details finalized we will send an email with the itinerary and address of where to meet. If you can only stay for part of the morning, you are still welcome to join us. This project will take place at ADA accessible facilities, and will mostly focus on tasks requiring use and shovels and wheelbarrows.
