August 25, 2018

Atlanta Platoon

Event overview

We need your help in supporting Mama Amina- a refugee resettlement trailblazer who has been called the Ambassador, Mayor, Queen, and Grandmother of her city Clarkston, GA. Amina is a recognized leader in the refugee resettlement community. She regularly collects and donates clothing, school supplies, and other items to the children of refugee families in Clarkston. Amina also cares for and mentors many children in her city, in addition to regularly advocating on behalf of the refugee community. Please help us support Amina’s efforts by assisting us in building her a storage shed, benches, and picnic tables. This will be our first service project in Clarkston, and it will be super fun! We hope to see you there!
