Join us for the 2018 Summer Service Slam, an annual partnership between The Mission Continues and Fox Sports Midwest. Every year our last project of the summer is our biggest event of the year. This year we chose to commemorate 9/11 through our Summer Slam. St. Louis 2nd Platoon will be hosting Summer Service Slam as part of Operation Troops for Teens. We will be creating indoor study spaces at the residential cottages. We will also work on a 5k route and other outdoor recreation spaces. Lunch will be provided. There will be 1 building task in an ADA accessible space. Other tasks will take place on uneven ground and require lifting and ladder work. Our project is being made possible through the following local partnerships: Boeing is the lead funder of St. Louis 1st Platoon, and will be participating in the project through their St. Louis Veteran Task Force as part of their commitment to service in St. Louis. Nestle Purina is contributing funder of St. Louis 2nd Platoon and is also helping make this project possible.

What to Bring
You are welcome to bring your own gloves or drills. TMC will provide one-size-fit-all safety gear and tools.
