Winter Project Homeless Connect

January 25, 2018

07:30 AM - 01:00 PM CST

Columbia MO Platoon

Event overview

First of all, Happy New Year to you all! I hope that 2018 will be a good year for you and your family! Our first support project of the year will be to assist local agencies and organizations in the Columbia area to provide a day of services, education and resources to the homeless. This event is a great opportunity for homeless individuals to conduct initial paperwork, complete screenings, evaluations and schedule appropriate follow up appointments with their agencies. We need volunteers to sign up to help with Checking in, directing people to the different agencies within the building, serve food, handing out back packs and other items that will be available to them. They will also need some of us to help after the event with turning down and putting away tables and chairs, etc. If you can be available between 0730 and 1 pm on the 25th of January, please sign up to come out and help this very worth while event that will help our fellow homeless people in our community. Thank you for all the hard work and dedication that you provided at last years' projects and I look forward to seeing you at the 2018 events as well.
