MLK Care and Share Food Drive

In honor of MLK weekend, let's do some good for our local community! This month we will be supporting the Care and Share Food Bank, ensuring that families in need don't go hungry. We will be helping move food items, welcoming guests, and supporting other various tasks that the organization may need help with. Come out and make an impact! For more information on registration, please see details below, which were provided by Care and Share, and email me at ceckles@missioncontinues.org for waiver forms. 1. Please ask your team mates to register a profile on http://missioncontinues.careandshare.volunteerhub.com/ and sign up for Saturday, January 13, 9 AM - 11:30 AM. Everyone must have a profile completed. 2. Any youth under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Attached is this waiver that must be completed and turned in upon arrival. 3. Please pass along these basic safety protocols: • Volunteers ages 6-16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while volunteering • Children 6-10 years old must have 1 adult per 3 children • All shoes must be closed toed with no open backs • All shirts must have sleeves (no muscle shirts) • No overly loose pants are allowed • Cell phone use is limited to the employee/volunteer break room • No headphones (music, Bluetooth) are allowed in the volunteer areas or the warehouse • Purses and bags should be left in your vehicle • Horse playing is prohibited • Only designated Care and Share employees are allowed to ride or operate forklift equipment • Personal food or drinks are allowed only in the employee/volunteer breakroom • During fall/winter months dress in warm layers
