"Everyone can be great because everyone can serve.” -Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Join the Lowell 1st Platoon for a day of transformative service at the Abraham Lincoln Elementary School honoring the message and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We will have a variety of projects including painting, bench building, and furniture assembly. By the end of our service day, we will create a welcoming entry foyer to the school, a large mural in one of the main hallways, freshen up a few rooms with a new coat of paint, and create panel murals representing the school community’s values. This is a family-friendly day of service, and lunch will be provided. Please note—the first 20 people to register online and attend the day of service will be entered into a raffle to receive (2) tickets for a day of skiing at Wachusetts Mountain.
