Event overview

September 11, 2001, was a turning point for our nation that opened our eyes to a new vulnerability. Because of the courage, passion, and determination of all those who rose above the ashes to serve and stand for peace, we are motivated and we are united to be better. This year marks the 17th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, and The Mission Continues is issuing a call to unite in service. Mission Continues Service Platoons nationwide are organizing service projects for veterans and local volunteers to come together, make a difference in their community, and remember those who served and sacrificed in the wake of 9/11. Please join the Indianapolis 1st platoon for a day of service in honor of Sept 11th, 2001. Be a part of our team and help build a fun and functional outdoor classroom and more for the students at KIPP Indy in the Brightwood Community! This project is perfect for the whole family. Kids will be doing art projects. Invite — Your friends and family to serve with us. All are welcome, and no prior military service is required to volunteer.
