Join our partners, The Hazelwood Initiative in hosting the first of three meetings between the Department of City Planning and our chosen consultants (Gensler from Chicago, IL) and the Greater Hazelwood community to develop a vision and plan to guide our future for the next 10-20 years. This community event will utilize fun, food and inspiring techniques such as art, storytelling, and hands-on practical activities, to engage the Hazelwood community and involve its residents in influencing the future of where they live. Volunteers are needed for this event to help with registration, dinner, and facilitation of the activities. If you're interested in community outreach, community development, or social research please come out and serve with us!
