2018 PNW Service Block Party

August 11, 2018

10:00 AM - 04:00 PM PDT

Seattle Platoon

Event overview

This is truly the event of the year. On August 11th, 2018, come join members of both the Seattle 1st and 2nd Platoon's, as well as members of the Tacoma 1st Platoon, as they report for duty in Seattle's very own International District for the 2018 Seattle Service Block Party. We'll link up at the Danny Woo Community Garden with partners from Interim CDA, for what promises to be the premier event of the year. Our members will be tackling several distinct projects as they focus on the entire community. We'll be painting, mulching, cleaning and connecting with our community. Projects like the garden itself, the NP Hotel and several others will get a huge facelift, as our members are joined by representatives of Seattle's Tech Community, as we once again lean on the #VeteransInTech initiative. Code Fellows will be onsite, as well as representatives from Starbucks, Delta, Bank Of America, T-Mobile, Four Block, Bunker Labs, Boeing and more. Veterans from all over the NW will be involved...you will not want to miss it. Starbucks will be providing refreshments...and lunch is provided. A live D.J. will keep the party going all day...and a BBQ with local favorites will close us out. Oh, by the way, the Seahawks Seagals will be there along with Blitz! This is going to be awesome...you do not want to miss it.
