Event overview

Each year the National Football League implements the Super Kids-Super Sharing project in the Super Bowl host community. This project works to put books, sports equipment, school supplies and games into the hands of local children in need. It first started in Atlanta and celebrates its 20th anniversary back in Atlanta this year. This year we are teaming up with the Atlanta Super Bowl Host Committee, Atlanta Falcons, Infinite Energy Center’s Forum, Verizon and more than 100 local schools for Super Kids-Super Sharing. The Super Kids event will be held Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Infinite Energy Center’s Forum. Hundreds of students will be bringing in the books, sports equipment, school supplies and games they’ve been collecting. We would appreciate your assistance in helping the kids unload and bring in these items, and also in helping the Falcons run play activities for the kids to enjoy. Here’s the schedule for the day: 7:30 a.m. volunteers arrive and check in 8:00 a.m. volunteer briefing and final preparations 8:45 a.m. schools begin arriving 10 a.m. brief thank you ceremony 10:20 a.m. play activities provided by the Falcons Noon – Collection portion of event ends – lunch is provided to volunteers 1 p.m. recipient schools/organizations arrive to select the items they can use 3 p.m. – Final recipients arrive to take anything remaining
