San Antonio Can High School offers a second chance to any students who have struggled in a traditional high school setting. The Mission Continues 1st Platoon San Antonio is teaming up with our lead sponsor, Boeing! Together, we will report for duty at San Antonio Can High School on Saturday, October 21st from 9:30 AM- 2:00 PM for an awesome service project. Project Duties: -Convert batting cage into a agriculture green house. -Weed eat outside parameter of green house. -Level mulch evenly inside the green house. -Build planter boxes out of wood & stone. -Add top soil to planter boxes. -Build compost storage. -Refurbish gym stage. -Sand stage -Stain stage -Paint stage cabinets in the gymnasium. -Switch out hardware door handles on stage cabinets. -Hang Can Academy mascot dragon on gymnasium wall. -Install baseball bleachers. -Paint bleachers. -Remove old desks and chairs out of upstairs class room. -Dispose desks and chairs into dumpster. This event is family and children friendly. DJ, breakfast, and lunch will be provided. We couldn't do this alone, thank you for your support. Come out and join the fun!!
