Ahhh, the giving season is upon us, and no one does it better than Toys For Tots. Come on out and join YOUR Seattle 2nd Platoon, as they support Toys For Tots and their Annual Toy Buy Event. Every Year Toys R Us presents Toys For Tots with a monetary grant with the stipulation that they purchase toys from local retailers. This year they will open their store in Lynnwood at 8 am for the annual $20,000.00 toy buy. What an experience to purchase a product while giving back! We will shop until the funds are gone (about 2-3 hours); load them up on the truck (after many photo ops), and take them to the warehouse. We unload, sort and shelve. And spread a little joy.
