University of Missouri – St. Louis (BA History), and currently pursuing my MSW

Proudest moment in my career:

Hmm, not sure I’ve had that moment…yet!

Favorite summer activity:

Running – I LOVE the heat!

Book on your nightstand:

“Seward: Lincoln’s Indispensable Man” and “The Wednesday Sisters”

Favorite movie/favorite current movie:

“Elf” – I have to watch it at least once (or maybe five times) during the holidays.

Most Rewarding Thing About Working at The Mission Continues:

I was attracted to The Mission Continues because of its focus on success through service. I’ve been involved in some form of volunteerism since I’ve been a kid (shout out to my service-oriented mama) and think most of my “aha” moments have been during, or as a result of, a volunteer experience. Everyone has a different definition of what success means to them, so I’m excited to get to be a part of people having lightbulb moments.

Song that describes you:

“Happy” by Pharell

Item on your bucket list:

To go cage diving with great white sharks. I’ve been obsessed (not an exaggeration) with sharks since I’ve been about 10 years old.

Who would you dine with (dead or alive):

Abraham Lincoln. To quote the sage words of 90’s hip hop queens Salt and Pepa, “Whatta Man.”
