Georgia Rostirolla | Senior Manager, Finance Planning & Analysis
Office: El Paso, Texas
University of Missouri (Accounting)
Proudest moment in career:
Whenever a veteran thanks me for my service to the veteran community.
Book on your nightstand:
My tax accounting textbook (that’s all I have time for these days)
Favorite memory at The Mission Continues:
Many come to mind but a good early memory at The Mission Continues has to be the late nights spent at the office. There were only about seven of us on the team then, but if a big project came up, we would stay late into the night trying to bring it all together. We were just happy to be here, trying to make things happen
Hidden gem in St. Louis:
Hardly a hidden gem, but I’m a big fan of the City Museum
Favorite sports team:
Most rewarding thing about working at The Mission Continues:
The veterans I get to serve and the incredible team of people I work with
Binge-watching my favorite Netflix shows whenever I’m on a break with school
Most over-used phrase I say:
Item on your bucket list:
Being fluent in four languages (three down, one to go).
Who would you dine with (dead or alive):
My grandfather. He was a POW in World War II and retired as a General in the Italian Army. He passed away when I was 11 years old, before I ever got the chance to talk to him about his service. I feel like we would have a great conversation today.
