Boys State/Girls State Service Steps

 Step One: Register your project.

This simple event planner will help you to organize the details of your event. This event could be a toy drive, a sporting equipment drive or another creative way for you to tribute a veteran.  You will need to use the email template in Step Two to complete registration.  Click here to register.

Step Two: Send emails to all of your supporters.

Give them the details of the event and let them know how to get involved. Make sure to let them know why you're putting on this Tribute Project. This will be done directly from our website's event module.  Use this template to get started.

Step Three: Spread the word about The Mission Continues.

We have provided resources to make it simple.  Create fliers or post cards. Send emails and press releases. The more people you reach out to, the stronger your project will be.

Step Four: Perform the service.

Have fun and appreciate the meaning of your Tribute Project. Enjoy the work that you and your community are performing.

Step Five: Reach out to the family of the fallen servicemember you are honoring.

The family will appreciate that the beliefs of the fallen are being lived. Use this letter template. Send the letters to us and we will send them out for you. 

Step Six: Tell your friends to continue the mission.

Make service a priority in your community and nominate others to lead their own projects.
