The Mission Continues invites you to join our basketball pool. All funds received will benefit our fellowship and service programs for wounded and disabled veterans. With this event, The Mission Continues hopes to fund two full challenge grants, a total of $4,000. Challenge grants allow veterans to lead others in service projects in their own communities. Through these projects, wounded and disabled veterans are able to continue to serve and give back to others.
To register:
1. Contribute $25 below.
2. You will then be sent the password and username to enter our pool, hosted at CBSSports.com.
3. Fill out a bracket on CBSSports.com.
4. Add your bracket to The Mission Continues group by using the password and username you received from us.
Cash prizes of up to $250 will be available for the top 3 finishers depending on number of participants. First place will have the chance to win up to $250.
Space is limited to the first 400 participants, and we hope it will fill up fast. Please register before Wednesday, March 17 at 9:00 p.m.
Please contact Tony Bryan, Associate Director of Advancement, with any questions at tbryan@missioncontinues.org or 314-571-6156.

Project Details:
What are we doing? Painting, landscaping, and “fixing up” the “Courtois House” where women who have committed non-violent crimes are transitioning back into society and back into their families’ lives. All tools and equipment will be provided.
Who should be involved? Veterans of all eras and veteran-supporters who want to improve our St. Louis community
When? Saturday, March 27th from 9am – Noon. Volunteers and residents of the Courtois House will celebrate our volunteer efforts with pizza at Noon.
Where? Courtois House (322 Courtois Ave) in the Carondelet Neighborhood of South St. Louis
Why? Because the women of the Courtois House are courageously re-taking their lives and we want to support them. Also, The Mission Continues exists to challenge our returning veterans to continue their lives of service. We need our veterans as service leaders in our St. Louis community.
The Mission Continues will be one of ten featured charity partners for the April 10 - 11, 2010 Go! St. Louis marathon. GO! St. Louis®, a not-for-profit organization, encourages individuals and families in the region to adopt a healthy lifestyle by getting fit, staying active, and eating a nutritional diet year round. The organization accomplishes this through school based programming, community collaborations, the creation of new and unique fitness events and outreach to senior/retirement centers.

Half marathon. This would be my 3rd year in the event and the first time for a cause.
Please help me raise money for those who have been there for you and now need your support.
Thanks,
ginnie

On April 11th, I will be participating in my 10th half-marathon and raising money for a great organization called The Mission Continues. This non-profit organization based out of St. Louis raises money for wounded and disabled veterans. Won't you please help these soldiers who have given so much to provide us freedom and safety in America?
Hello family and friends,
I am running in my first half Marathon and raising money to help our wounded and disabled veterans along the way. Every penny you donate will go directly to The Mission Continues Organization which directly helps our Vets. Just donating even a dollar will help me reach my goal of $100 or more for this great organization. Feel free to check out the website at www.missioncontinues.org
Thanks so much for your help and for supporting these very worthy men and women and all that they have sacrificed.
Peace,
Libby Harbaugh
