The Mission Continues Challenge Grants

The purpose of Mission Continues Challenge Grants are to challenge and empower both veterans and civilians to serve their country.  The "challenge" we are providing is to ask volunteers to step forward and bring as many volunteers together to impact their community in the most meaningful way possible.  Bring your community out for a project and let us help you with a Challenge Grant.

You may apply for the grant that most appropriately suits you. You may apply for several grants but each grant application requires an entirely unique project to be executed.  Each grant calls for veterans to play a leadership role, either in planning or "day of" activities.  The degree of funding is based on impact of the project, creative cost effective measures, and amount of volunteers involved, particularly veterans. Funding begins at $50 and is to be applied toward the projects costs.

Challenge Grant Opportunities

Warriors In Service - For Veterans of All Eras

If you are a veteran who wants to serve still, apply for a grant to cover or offset the cost of a service project in your area.  Join forces with other vets or civilians and make your community a better place. Grants are available from $50 to $1000 based on the scope of your project and amount of volunteers involved.

Teacher In Service - For Teachers and Their Students

As teachers, you lead your students everyday.  Now, empower them to plan a meaningful service project alongside local veterans.  Engage veterans in a leadership role while building a project together side by side to better your community and teach your students what it means to serve both as a veteran and with them.

Kids In Service - For Ages 5-17

Everyone says that you are the leaders of the future, but we believe you can lead now.   Mission Continues Fellows serve our country in spite of their disabilities and you can serve even though you are young.  The energy and creativity you bring to community service is incredible.  Now bring a veteran or several veterans onto your team and do some good for people in your area.

Working America In Service - For Adults with the Desire to Say Thank You and Make a Difference

While our time is short, our impact through volunteering can be everlasting.  Though getting the kids to practice and the work we bring home can weigh us down, it is important that we will our need to give back.  Let The Mission Continues Challenge Grant program help you perform a project for someone in your area.  Change your community, while honoring the wounded or fallen.

Retired Adults In Service - For Experienced Adults with the Knowledge and Passion to Make their Community a Better Place

Whether you are a veteran or not you have given much to your community.  Now, allow us to help you continue to do so by applying for a Challenge Grant.  Join hands with veterans and civilians in your neighborhood.  Perform a service project that lets the nation know what skills our retired adults have to offer, all while saying thank you to veterans in the most meaningful way; by living their beliefs.

Don't see a grant that suits you? Tell us what you want to do in the application.  If you are a vet and have a desire to serve in your community or a civilian who finds a way to serve alongside veterans, we just may be able to help out!
